Located in the newly renovated outdoor entertainment space ‘The Backyard,’ giveaways, face painting and concerts highlight BLOOM’s family-friendly events and activities

Highland Village, Texas -- The Shops at Highland Village is proud to announce BLOOM, an innovative month-long event series that promotes sustainability and community engagement. Starting on March 15 and running through April 22, BLOOM will transform the Shops at Highland Village into a hub for activities and events.

The Backyard Grand Opening Weekend - Join us in celebrating the grand opening of The Shops’ newly renovated outdoor space, The Backyard, on April 4-6. This special event will showcase The Backyard's amenities and feature an exciting lineup of activities throughout the weekend. Guests will enjoy live music performances, participate in family-friendly activities, energize with outdoor fitness classes, and have the chance to win fun giveaways. The Shops will also collect food goods for Communities in Schools North Texas’ school pantries as part of The Backyard’s debut weekend.

Easter Bunny Brunch - Attendees can join us at Sip + Savor for an Easter-themed brunch from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance at the event, giving families an opportunity to capture photos. Kids will also be able to take home a rubber duckie bunny, while supplies last, as a memento.

An Egg-cellent Day – On April 12 from 1 to 3 p.m., guests can hop ‘til they drop at the Shops at Highland Village’s annual Easter event. With the help of Learning Express and Adventure Kids Playcare, this event will feature games and crafts including hair glitter, face painting, bubble machines, hula hoops and rolling eggs. Families can enjoy free photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny at his throne and take home fuzzy bunny ears while supplies last.

Earth Day Celebration – On April 22 from 6 to 8 p.m., BLOOM will conclude with an Earth Day celebration. This celebration will feature a free concert and face painting for family-friendly fun at The Backyard. Guests will also have a chance to see a local beekeeper handle an active beehive and browse earth-friendly toys and gifts at a Learning Express pop-up shop.
