The event will include catered meals and raffles after students pay a $25 fee which will go towards funding the event and helping the organization.
Raffles will be offered along with awareness regarding the bee ecosystem in Ohio. The ball will feature multiple guest speakers, from the Director of Bee Keeping for the State of Ohio, members of the Bowling Green State University board.
“the bee ball is an opportunity for the community to connect to the organization and all processed go to the club and help produce honey and wax as well. As being a good opportunity to learn from individuals about the bees in Ohio and the bee club” according to Sarah Higginbotham, the head of public marketing for the bee club.
Other clubs will be present at the ball showing support. This is a big event and marks a milestone for the bee club as they expand hives and membership.
