Led by Pierre Merlet, a committed beekeeper, these sessions offer the opportunity to discover the basics of beekeeping right in the heart of the capital. A blend of education and awareness-raising, these workshops enable participants to get closer to bees and better understand their essential role in urban biodiversity.

These workshops are part of an initiative to preserve pollinators, in particular theApis Mellifera and wild insects. By promoting respectful beekeeping, the Ruches Villette harvest Miel Villette, an urban honey produced from the nectar of the park's many flowers. "The wellbeing of our bees is a priority, which is why the vast majority of our honey goes to them,"explains Ruches Villette. The aim is to reconcile local production with respect for bee colonies.
he experience offered to participants is based on a practical approach to beekeeping. Through these training courses, Iliaven Apiculture aims to make the Ruches Villette a reference point inParis for raising awareness and passing on knowledge about the world of bees.

Registration is open to anyone interested in discovering the world of bees. Each session is supervised by professionals who guide participants through a gradual immersion in beehives.
