Beekeeping conference returns to central Wisconsin
It’s all about bees come January.
The Central Wisconsin Beekeepers Association, in partnership with Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids, will host its Beek Meet 2025 Conference Jan. 25, 2025, at MSTC, 500 32nd St. N., Wisconsin Rapids.
The event follows the return of Beek Meet 2024 that drew almost 300 attendees. Beek Meet 2025 will provide attendees with access to speakers, sessions and vendors sharing the latest information and products to improve their beekeeping skills.
“We are excited to once again host Beek Meet 2025 and continue to support our mission to help educate people on how to improve honey production and beekeeping,” said Mike Lawrence, CWBA president, in a news release. “For 2025, we will have expanded facilities, new and previous vendors, and, most importantly, a dynamic line-up of terrific speakers.”
Beek Meet 2025 speakers will include keynote speaker Ian Steppler, who manages Steppler Farms’ 1,500 honeybee operation and hosts a Canadian Beekeeper’s Blog on YouTube.
